blown away

Thanks Gareth, I'm one of the few who love Brendan Benson

The first album is almost as goos as the last one, so it is needless to say that everyone into bealtes-soundalike-folk-pop songs should buy this album. A nice christmas present though.

This news sounds good to me (only fans will enjoy this miserable pun I guess).

Heard Folk Singer. Loved it.

Heard Tiny Spark. Was excruciatingly bored.

Have spent the time since then listening to more interesting music.

well, no-one had replied, and i didn't want gareth to appear unpopular. i wasn't that impressed with one mississippi, but didn't want to say that as the first response, so i had to think of something else brendan related.

for those kids out there who like mr benson (that being quite a few of you), he is reissuing his rather splendiferous debut album, 'one mississippi' in the next couple of weeks. has been deleted for quite a while but if any of you liked lapalco then i thoroughly reccommend you purchasing it. i got it on import last year (because i'm sad) and it stuck to my stereo for quite a while.

and he is currently in a studio recording his new album which allegedly comes out in the summer. yay!
