When I`ve downloaded them before, they automatically get saved as mp3s. I`ve never needed to type that into the file name.

Yes more often than not, bands only have one track you are able to download and they take it away after awhile. I'm assuming this Total Recorder,
lets you copy the track. I find the myspace streamed tracks to be of low sound quality so not worth recording and keeping on your hard drive.

You can only do this if the band has enabled downloads of their tracks, I think. Other than that, I guess something like Total Recorder would do the

It should say download under the song name in the music player, click on that and it should automatically download.
When the file has downloaded it will appear as a mysterious file and you need to type '.mp3' after the name so it opens as an mp3 rather
than an anonymous file.
EDIT: There is probably some better way of saying this, perhaps using the proper names for things..
