Kings of Leon â?? A Ha Shake Heartbreak
Hopes were not exactly high for the follow up to debut album â??Youth & Young Manhoodâ?? after their awful Glastonbury performance. It is a great
relief to be able to tell you that the Kings have delivered an absolute diamond of an LP though. Sex, drugs and rock n roll are very much the
debauched order of the day - this time around, the Kings have actually lived the tales rather than dreaming them like they did on their debut. Album
highlight Soft is sleazier than a night on the tiles with Abi Titmuss and other tracks like Pistol of Fire leave little to the imagination.18 months
on the road have made KoL angry young men too, as shown by the vitriol spouted on â??Razz.â?? The musical progression is also noticeable, and the
offerings here are much more varied than that of their debut release. Older, wiser, better and completely necessary.
