I feel that life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. That's the two categories. The horrible are like, I don't know, terminal cases, you know, and blind people, crippled. I don't know how they get through life. It's amazing to me. And the miserable is everyone else. So you should be thankful that you're miserable, because that's very lucky, to be miserable.

I'm amazed how people seem to be listening to multiple artists at one time. Or have I just taken "current listening" too literally?

In either case; Dismantled - Circular (On digitalgunfire.com).

It was the first time I'd listened to that particular album so I'd be hard pressed to discuss it in relation to his other work, but Wyatt himself was the drummer in the seminal 60s prog/jazz/experimental band Soft Machine. An unpredictable run of events (including losing the use of his legs) led him onto his solo career. As an artist he is more or less totally unique and unparalled, sculpting remarkably involving and emotional dreamscapes beautifully cemented by his haunting voice and unlikely semantics.

Check out Rock Bottom, his solo debut, Volumes 1 & 2 by Soft Machine, and Joy of a Toy by Kevin Ayers, also ex Soft Machine to acquaint yourself with their legacy.
