Maximo Park in the Underground

To celebrate what has been a great year for indiesoc, we are proud to present a night of bands in the underground next term!

This event will be on the 28th April headlined by Maximo Park with 2 very special supports to be confirmed and The Corvettes too!

Tickets are going to be £7 but we should be able to sort out a discount for indiesoc-ers, just give us a few days...

More details to follow soon....

Oh yes.

I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum, 5
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.

You know it makes sense!! I haven't felt this excited for a long time, this is nearly bordering on being my christmas, birthday, diwali and funeral all rolled into one. We should persuade all our chums to come down, make it a healthy crowd. I'm excited about the support bands too, wait till that gets announced!!!!

I'll be able to let you know the support bands within the next two weeks hopefully... Sorry I want to tell you all but they're not 100% confirmed yet and if they are who we're in line to get.... then yes, very exciting!

Although I can't take all of the credit at all, Mr Colin DIS has been exceptionally brilliant and patient with me!

You know blud!!!!!!! I don't even think we need support, give them a
2 hour set, though they'd run out of material. I had a dream The Rakes were on the lineup, though i doubt it. Editors sounds likely. Corrine says she prefers The Editors to Maximilius Park, i can see it being a major argument between the pair of us in the future.
