Danielle when the new thread establishes itself you are gonna be barred. I would like to take this opportunity to link to any number of previous posts you made on the last thread but I can't because they've been deleted. Curses. But who has lost the most posts through the deletion of the thread? My money's on Becka.

I feel that life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. That's the two categories. The horrible are like, I don't know, terminal cases, you know, and blind people, crippled. I don't know how they get through life. It's amazing to me. And the miserable is everyone else. So you should be thankful that you're miserable, because that's very lucky, to be miserable.

I don't understand how all of sudden it can be deemed stupid and pointless. Almost every single forum member posted on it at some time and the simple fact is, if you don't like it, don't read it or post on it! Surely it would be best to keep the majority of users on this site who enjoy using happy? There are a few members who rarely post on anything else, how do they feel?

I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.

In winter trenches, cowed and glum, 5
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.

hmmm... i'm torn on this. I don't care to hear about the dull things people have been doing - so i take the option not to read those threads the vast majority of the time. There is the advantage that it keeps it all in one place so that option's there, but i sometimes think having that rubbish on here denigrates the website a little (tried to think of a less harsh way of putting that, but i couldn't, i'm afraid)!

Stephen Colbert on the impact of the Democrats' victory:

"Tomorrow you're all going to wake up in a brave new world: a world where the constitution gets trampled by an army of terrorist clones, created in a stem-cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags."

I'd actually claim that Speak Your Brains helped me in some small way deal with my girlfriend going away. it was somewhere to set out my feelings, at a moment in time when I was living on my own and all my friends were at home for the summer. But hey, i guess the dream is over.
