Sweet, kind of. They aren`t bad live, but most of their songs sound like each other. But I`ll definitely be there

boy kill boy are a pretty good pull for the uni - should be entertaining. didn't they headline that nme tour with the long blondes and the
automatic?

Yeah, I think its a good thing. I do actually quite like them on a Subways kind of level, they are a bit samey but have some good singles and are
pretty good for entertainment

That tour was disappointing. Long Blondes were the best and they were on first- Boy Kill Boy were so dull, we left after they played Suzie. If
i'd paid I would have been pissed.
I often go to sleep with pyjama bottoms, socks and a t-shirt on. When I awake I am naked. This is a popular phenomenon, known in scientific circles as
theft. My family members steal my clothes in the night and sell them down the market. I often walk to work and see kids wearing the clothes that only
the night before I was sleeping in. It is a disturbing development.

It would appear that Hundred Reasons are playing on Oct 5th. Is this true?
I knew a simple soldier boy
Who grinned at life in empty joy,
Slept soundly through the lonesome dark,
And whistled early with the lark.
In winter trenches, cowed and glum, 5
With crumps and lice and lack of rum,
He put a bullet through his brain.
No one spoke of him again.

isn't it virtually a rule on the nme tour that the headliners are the worst band on the bill?!
Stephen Colbert on the impact of the Democrats' victory:

in a stem-cell research lab run by homosexual doctors who sterilize their instruments over burning American flags."

Yes. This was the case when I went to see Franz Ferdinand, The Von Bondies and The Rapture a few years ago.

I see that Freshers Week has an event called Freshtival on the Wednesday that looks pretty good, the indie room in Mondo is DJ'ed by Lucio from
XFM. Shame he decamped to Heart 106.2 a few weeks back

Is there anyone that wants to go and hasn't got a ticket? I have a guest ticket spare but I'll charge student price (unless the person
taking isn't a student!)
Any takers?
