drowned in sound have started a discussion about indie disco top 10s. can't say i agree with many of them except the guy who lists party hard by
andrew wk 10 times.
what would you play? ten songs to keep the dancefloor buzzing.

and for the record, given a 10 song slot tonight at a discerning establishment i would probably play:
1. the strokes- juicebox
2. the rakes- 22 grand job
3. test icicles- circle, square, triangle
4. dfa 1979- romantic rights
5. le tigre- deceptakon
6. blondie hanging on the telephone
7. art brut- my little brother
8. franz ferdinand- michael
9. bloc party- banquet
10. the killers- mr brightside
keep the tempo high. songs everyone knows (more or less), finish on a winner. bang bang bang. there's half an hour of this week's milkshake
sitting right there.
in the meantime, come to v bar tonight. i won't play any of those songs.
