Let's bring Indiesoc back!
Facebook may be good for organising things and posting pictures with a filter on, but discussion is all-too-rare
By bringing back Indiesoc, we will:
- Enrich our lives
- Have some good conversation
- Become closer again, despite our geographical distances
- Get some good top 10s going
(the latter is probably the most important).
"How can I help?" I hear you say. All you need to do is post.
I often go to sleep with pyjama bottoms, socks and a t-shirt on. When I awake I am naked. This is a popular phenomenon, known in scientific circles as
theft. My family members steal my clothes in the night and sell them down the market. I often walk to work and see kids wearing the clothes that only
the night before I was sleeping in. It is a disturbing development.

greetings from Belgium !
I managed to remember my username and password, amazing...
Last night I heard someone say something that sounded like a perfect witty indiesoc forum signature, unfortunately I forgot all about it.

I don't know anything about indie music anymore, is this going to be a problem? I'm not even sure if indie music exists. My students listen
to Mumford & Sons and Bastille, they're about as indie as a can of coke.
My phone wanted to correct that to 'a can of come'. Now THAT would be indie.
I would like to see the skyline and city lights of New York or Tokyo and then come back to the green fields we know and do nothing, and sleep, and do
that again and again...

I still try and keep up with things - though some of the grot like Palma Violets and The Vaccines are as bad as anythikng the NME has pushed before.
I had Crunchy Bran for breakfast, so boring! Might have to start a breakfast thread...

I'd forgotten how tedious it is to type my old username in. Hooray for musical discussion, though.

Whilst this revamping of indiesoc is timely and welcome, the publication of the fabled "cunt list" would really be the icing on the cake.
I'll just die if i don't get that recipe!

A less welcome aspect, however, is the swear editor. Suffice to say I was making reference to the "c*nt list" rather than seeking to gauge
indiesoccers' biscuit preferences...

Hi Kat! How are you? See how much better this is than Facebook? I don't know why we all left, I still look at plenty of other messageboards!

“I feel that life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. That's the two categories. The horrible are like, I don't know, terminal
cases, you know, and blind people, crippled. I don't know how they get through life. It's amazing to me. And the miserable is everyone else.
So you should be thankful that you're miserable, because that's very lucky, to be miserable.”

Just had this pop up after checking back at the TMF 2005 line up. I know many of you (if any) will see this but thanks for being part of an amazing
time personally in my life. From the promoting to the social to Sunday morning footy. Good times.
As an update, I am still involved in music. I promote and manage and have my own little project which has grown in the last year:

Take care y'all
